With the new Bloodcrusher kit out soon, I decided to make a Khorne Daemon army to follow up the fun I've had with my Nurgle one.
Then, today at my LGS, the owner sold me a box of plastic Bloodcrushers early Best day ever!
So I've got them assembled, and they are sexy. I'm going to end up with a grand total of 12 of them. Forgive the crappy picture quality. I'll post my list up a bit later when it's finished.

Alright, here's the list I'm hoping to run. Any thoughts, please let me know. It's not supposed to be competitive, just use my favorite models from the Khorne Daemon line. It's also simple, and if it works how I want it to, can really wreck some face.

I love the Bloodcrusher and Bloodletter models, the new Plastic Daemon Princes are wonderful kits, and I've already got the army pretty much bought.
More pics tomorrow, I'm starting my second unit of 'Crushers, and some basing.

Actually, besides the extra box of Bloodcrushers and one more Prince, everything is assembled I'm beginning basing tomorrow. Hopefully I can start painting by this upcoming weekend! I'm an odd bird, I like to collect, build and model/convert an army before I even pick up a can of primer. Just personal preference, I suppose.

Slight update. Some pictures of the army, it's getting there. I especially like the Bloodletter that I converted from some of the Bloodcrusher parts, he'll act as the pseudo-unit champion, with Fury of Khorne.

More resin bases! This will be my third army with all resin bases, and let me tell you, the time saved not having to base them by hand and the coolness factor are worth every penny, if you can afford them after spending a mint on GW's models I'll update when I've got some models painted! Hopefully tomorrow!

Time for an update! Got my first test models done for the Bloodcrushers and Bloodletters. The new plastic 'Crusher kit is so much nicer to assemble and paint. I had to do one back in my redshirt days, and man was that a pain. I'm going for a pretty standard paintjob for them. I'm open to comments and criticisms, but I already know I'm not the world's greatest painter, so most of the latter will be ignored! My bases from the wonderful people at Dragonforge should be arriving soon, but for now I'm just using the regular black ones from GW. Cool fact: The plastic Bloodcrusher kit actually includes 3 square bases and 5 (yes, 2 extra) 60mm Round bases, so I'm going to end up with a ton extra for other projects I still have no idea how I'm going to paint the bases though, so feel free to shoot me some suggestions. very good start but the sword could use some blending to give it that white hot steel look.

Start off with a basecoat of skull white, then build up the blend from Blood Red, to Blazing orange, to Sunburst yellow then finally, skull white.

Very nice! I like how there are different reds for the daemons and the armour on the crushers.

Sorry for the crap picture quality, other camera is dead and I'm having a bit of an awful night, so I can't be bothered to go charge it. Thought you guys would be happy to see the might that is 12 plastic Bloodcrushers.

I'll try to get some pictures up tomorrow, or failing that, when I can this week.

Sorry for the lack of updates, just got back from MEPS. I'm putting some models on bases from DragonForge today, I'll try to snap some pictures a bit later!

Looks like it's updating time. Got my resin bases in from DragonForge, cleaned them and primed them today. Got a 12 man squad of Bloodletters done, as well as a Bloodcrusher. There guys are 100% ready to go. Hopefully I can get some painting done tomorrow as well and update then, too.

Looks nice, but I'm not liking those horrid gaps.

A lot of these were given to me second hand, so I had to work with what I had. Not complaining though, models for lower prices makes everyone happy.
