Does anybody know the point cost for running this model? I found all the rules and a customer at the hobby store where I work is interested in running it, but there is no point total for the model. Has that information been leaked anywhere yet? Sorry if somebody has already posted, but I needed to get the answer asap, rather than running through pages of discussion looking to see. Thanks for the help

I'm guessing that to even make it seem fair you'd need to run that in a game approaching apocalypse in scale. It would be interesting though!

Make it up. Figure the price of 3 organ guns plus a flying monster would be my recommendation. Until something is actually released (rumors of fantasy apoc) there won't be any set points value so just make a house ruling on it.

Page 424 of the new rulebook explains this. The zeppelin is an example of a rule set for epic warmachines in bigger games. Such big monstrosities tend to destabilize the game, so they strongly recommend that it is only used in non-competitive games and that BOTH sides are able to get access to it by scenario rules, making point costs obsolete.

I know it's not as cool, but you can always use the rules for a gyrocopter with a different model.
I've been pondering Chaos Dwarfs (bought the book online). Earthshaker cannons = grudge throwers. Death Rockets = cannons. And to get really tricky, a Chaos Sorcerer is an Anvil of Power. Just give him a throne or big spell laboratory or something and some acolytes standing by.
I love conversions like that.

Kroothawk and Agnosto, thanks for your suggestions/answers: I passed them on to the customer and he was kool with it-figured about 600 pts to use it if organ guns are 100 each, and suggested his opponent gets a nasty big model as well and to call it even. Hopefully it works out for him

Wait. You bought the book? The old, out of date codex? Dude, not to be an ass, but you could have downloaded the commonly used Indie GT rulebook online for free. I have a chaos dwarf army and have since the big hats first came out and the rules in white dwarf were released. Huge community here: http://www.chaos-dwarfs.com/
sorry to derail the thread but I hate to see somebody get cheated.

And instead of using Warhammer miniatures you can use cans of Pepsi or whatever. But I like having the books. It was about $20 on amazon, almost mint condition.

Still, every serious Chaos Dwarf gamer owns the old army book (there never was a Codex), for background and pics.
