The current ruleset is dated 2008 on the GW website. This 2007 FAQ is not included in the current listing.

Tournaments in the U.S. Generally use the FAQ however.

The 2002 rules for turret suppression were accidentally left out of the FAQ.

Basically, the 2007 FAQ is still WIDELY used...especially by Tournament players.

I would've expected a new FAQ to mention the rules concerning base sizes for Ork Kroozers and Capital ships.

....do I finally need to replace my bases to regular Cruiser size rather than the large bases?

That was answered by a general response: Miniatures are based with the size of base they came with, or were intended to if the base was accidentally omitted. This 'rule' is current for all GW miniatures, though its of most use for heavy weapons squads.

Ork Kroozers were give special dispensation to be mounted on either size base in the 2002 Annual so that players did not have to rebase them. The excuse given is that some ork Kroozers are bigger than others and some employ tracktor beams to aid with ramming or boarding which also make them more vulnerable to ordnance.
