Yes, but they severely lack the conversation skills for me to be able to like them to a significant extent.

Tyranids, alongside Necrons, have the most potential in terms of backstory IMO. Where did they come from? Does the Hive Mind haven a central becon? Is there an end to their evolutionary possibilities? Personally, I believe that they may secretly be run by The Outsider. If you read the BA codex it lists a part where Necron stop fighting the BA to help them kill the Nids, which could be them seeing a rival C'tan controlled faction as a larger threat. Just a thought but something that GW can run away with and, hopefully, do something really cool with.

Nids annoyed me when I was learning to play... stupid boom fex 4th ed codex list... Now I don't have nearly the same problems... But ithe experience has scarred me... 2+ carnifex saves... *shiver*

nids are good but they suck against eldar . they beat them in cqc and ranged combat when i played as them

To say I dislike Nids would be an understatement....
I effin' despise them.
They exist only to feed, they have no ambition or character and I'm amazed that such a large majority of w40k enthusiasts like them so much.
They are just overgrown bugs that share the characteristics of a virus, nothing more.
Plus in my opinion they're ridiculously crass, they can shoot pretty well, have a shedload of psychic powers, and are a CC nightmare. One thing that really grinds my gears however is that Broodlords are now the equivalent of a sergeant in their rank, yet their profile is comparable to a HQ choice. Don't even get me started on the Doom of Malan-Tai.

I like 'nids, just like other armies better.

I <3 nids because of their character, playstyle and the fact that they don't care what they kill as long as it tastes good and can make more of them.

I dont like zoanthropes very much because a str 10 ap 1 LANCE is a crime against nature.

I have no problems killing carnifexes and stuff as long as they dont drop pod, trygons and mawlocs are a worry, swarm lords pretty pathetic coz hes just to slow, awesome but slow. I would never play them, but they are pretty good. I think jeanstealers need a 4+, they eat bolters real good atm,

I like Tyranids, I just really really HATE the fact that their ranged troops look like they're holding guns. Kinda breaks the immersion for me, they supposed to be utterly alien and un-relate-able to humies. (They got the Zoeys right though imo)

I LOVE Nids. I love their design, fluff, and fighting against them. I just don't want to start a new army with them.
