I am starting a Blood Angel force and have been wondering how to grow it.

HQ:
Captain 2xLC JP

Elite:
Sanguinary Priest PW JP

Troops:
Assault Squad (10)
Flamer, Meltagun, PF

Assault Squad (10)
Flamer, Meltagun, PF, no JP, Rhino

Death Company (5)
TH, PF, PW, JP

Scouts (5)
ML, PW, Bolters

1090 points.

I have thought of taking a small squad of Vanguard Vets with JP, a Dread in Drop Pod with Locator Beacon, and another Assault Squad in Rhino and one with Jump Packs. That would bring me up to 2000 but would it be effective? Perhaps 3 Vindicators and a few Baal Preds would serve me better?

3k Daemons
2k IG (not Leaf Blower)
4k Vanilla Marines
1k of a budding Tyranid brood any suggestions on what to do with Tyranids?

I think a few armored tanks would aid this better. a DC dread perhaps too. I dont really like the 5 man scout squad, the power weapon and ML dont seem to mix well.
