I have a small army of space marines but i kinda wanted to start some imperial guard, but to do that without breaking the bank i thought i could just put the imperial guard with the space marines. Is that possible? because they are both imperium or however you spell it i thought they could be together in an army. And i realize the need for 2 codexes, 1 SM and 1 IG.

in standard gaming, nope no ways to mix IG and SM unless you do proxies with inquisition.
