has anyone ever thought that the warhammer world is actually in the 40k universe trapped in warp storms and cut off from the rest of the galaxy, sigmar is probably a primarch aswell its says he came to the world on comet alot like the primarchs

GW I believe has come out and said that they are not in the same universe. A long time ago, though, it was strongly hinted that they were.

Back in early editions they might have eluded to them being linked. But have moved to refuting they're linked in any way as both settings developed.

This is a theory long talked about by fans and even a few GW retailers, I used to talk to alot.
Also there are two unaccounted slots in the primearch chart so... Sigmar (or whatever his name is) could be or could not be a primarch.
Also could have been a possibilty at one stage but GW may have just given up on the idea.

Wasnt there also another piece of old fluff saying the ENTIRE 40K UNIVERSE is contained in some jar/bottle/urn/pot/other container in one of the colleges of magic in Altdorf?

Maybe to get to the Black Library you must escape the "jar/bottle/urn/pot/other container"

Ever thought of that!? haha

I was reading the Necron? codex and it mentioned the "Old Ones".
I'm quite sure they are the gods of the Lizard men in Fantasy

You are right there. But I have been told that they are not in the same universe, and, although the Pot Theory (lol) is exceedingly cool to think about, I have never heard it.

When I was quite green to the whole "miniature" thing, I had an idea in my tiny 12-year-old head that Karl Franz and the Emperor were one and the same.

Peace

the necrons codex is probably one of the best for learning about the 40k universe i love all the stuff about the c'tan and the old ones and how the old ones created the first phycic races to fight the c'tan which created the chaos gods

plus the emperor deafeting the void dragon in lybia in like 1200AD to make the mechanicum

I'm fairly certain that Games Workshop has actually came out and specifically stated that Sigmar is not and never will be a Primarch (i was wondering the same thing you are a while ago and was searching through the internet). Too lazy to try and find where i saw it, but from what i've heard the two universes will never be linked other than with their gods and such.

Hi there, I'm an hole! =D

"Links disintegrate--
Bolt clanks back and forth behind the thudding roar--
Brass rains on the sidewalk--
The 'sixty rattles out its song.
A song I first heard years ago--
Of fireteams dug in on the breaks between the paddyfields, of tracer lasering the jungle night, of Hueys screaming through the void--
Of Lieutenant Castle getting short and hating it, wanting 'Nam to last forever--
A lullaby come all the way to New York City--
Come to sing you to sleep."
-The Punisher

As well as the franz theory it is believed by some that the twin-tailed comet of sigmar was a thunderhawk

its so much cooler if the WHFB was set in the 40k universe it would make sense out of everything but i guess the mystery is sometimes better than finding out plus it might piss off the people who just play WHFB

I think as the two fictional settings have developed their own history and narrative GW decided it would be better to just say the two were never linked. Both games systems are so far apart compared to earlier days that its better that way.

Personally I think that the Warhammer World is an experiment set up by Tzeentch to see what race is the strongest if you take away all the 'modern' tech. No actual reason as to why this would be the case other than I think it sounds cool.

Isnt the hole though on the Sigmar theory is that He has PHYSICAL parents? unless the Big E went to some back water planet (filled with beings that move mountains mind you) to inject some poor woman

anyways I think the main problem with fantasy and 40k being together is that everyone goes"Oh isnt that the fantasy race IN SPACE?"

I can still hear those people complaining about Xenology

And maybe the FB world in the 40k universe is just another thing GW are intentionally keeping from the fans/customers?

I, personally, would like it better if we the FB world was inside the 40K universe. Orbital bombardments on Dark Elves!
