I am not overly keen on Greater Daemon of Tzeentch model/s available, so here is an Idea of mine to create my own... Slightly cheaper too! Tell me if it sounds any good.

Ok, here goes.

Deamon Prince using fantasy parts of the new plastic DP.
Wings taken from lord of change.
Head from a horror, (beaked one).
Horror banner converted into staff
Lots of greenstuff, for neck and feathers etc. (yes I know feathers would be hard but meh, I reckon I am good enough at sculpting to pull it off )
Plasticard ( and greenstuff) for a book or two

What do you think?

Might look ok. If it looked too much like a daemon prince I could use it as one!

sounds fair to me, have a shot at it anyway, the only problem I can forsee is the size of the horror's head compared to the dp body? haven't seen them side by side yet but if you 'fluff' the head with feathers it might look pretty cool, good luck, keep us posted

Sounds like a good idea, my only concern would be the size of the head. The Lord of Change wings definitely look good on the new DP, I've used them on my Thousand Sons DP. The only problem with those wings is that they make the model very top heavy, you'll need to put plenty of weight under the base to keep it stable.

I think I would try to get hold of a bit of lead to weigh it down a bit

Ye, maybe the head won't work... hmmm, not sure how to do it otherwise though.... Unless I sculpt the whole head! HAHAHA!

Not that hard to sculpt a closed beak, again done that on my DP, I imagine an open beak would be trickier.

Sculpting feathers blows... hard. They can be pretty awesome if you pull them off well, but expect it to be a long hard battle.

Dude even if the horror head is to small for the DP it might look funny in a great way (as far as i know demons and daemons do not always have the same body porportions all the time, it would be like the berserker from dead space in a way, HUGE fethin front arms and tiny-ish legs)
Just my two cents yet you make the call on what you think would look cool.
