So, does anybody in Dakka-land like a turbocharged helping of gore and bewbs, mixed with the best sort of dark humor? Then this is the movie for you. 11 out of 10 stars.

Is it a Horror comedy? Or is it meant to be serious?

I admit I cracked up when Christopher Lloyd turned up but other than that... umm, yeah.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”
Adam Smith, who must have been some kind of leftie or something. |

Boobs and gore you say? Well, I suppose it might be worth a look.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

Saw it yesterday. Loved it. The only thing it needed was more blood and hooters.

I think they intended it to be funny. Why else would the first kill be Richard Dreyfuss, singing the same song he sang with the other guys in Jaws? Of course, I also laughed my ass of at the Final Destination movies.

Yep - Horror comedy. Not a spoof, like Young Frankenstein" but the kind of movie that just can't be taken seriously, yet very well done.
