Hey all,
I need some thoughts/tips/ideas on what to turn a Plague Furnace into in order to match my themed plague monks.

Instead of the disease-ridden monks of Clan Pestilens, my monks are devoted to machinery. Their bodies are partially cybernetic (in terms of fantasy- clockwork and steam parts).
Currently calling them the "Brass Cult" or some such.
- The monks will be visibly converted- instead of corrupted spines there will be cables and instead of rotting flesh, there will be partial machinery.


I plan to drive these guys with a plague furnace, but I need a fitting adaptation for the furnace to make it fit with the monks.

Any thoughts? What exactly would make sense to swing around like a wrecking ball with a fitting theme?

This. Also good luck as it sounds like a great army theme.

A giant pendulum might work well...
Seems difficult to model well because it is somewhat 2 dimensional whereas the plague censer is 3 dimensional and looks good from all angles...

To add on to this idea you could make a clock tower on wheels where it's all run down and ramshackle so it looks suitably skaven-like.

Yeah, the interior could be bulked out with lots of gears and pulleys and such! Sounds like a very cool idea.

I can also imagine a pendulum with a doomflayer/electro shock element on the end...

The above picture makes for a good idea- you could just use the big ball o' doom that currently comes with the furance as the pendulum, and just work on the housing to make it suitably clock-like

I'm liking the clock idea... will have to sketch some ideas.
