I see tons and tons of quizzes about: "What Ork Warboss are you?", "What Space Marine Chapter are you?", "What 40k Race are You?", etc. etc.
I even see lots of fan based clubs to join, each one with only a handful of members.
I also see official GW fan-clubs for almost every event.

But no game apps.

I'm not really a programmer myself, I took a few classes, but I know it wouldn't be that hard for GW to write a script for a game app. It would get them tons of cheap advertisements, they can use the same kind of engine for both 40k, and WHFB. Most of the games on Facebook are time based where you drain 1 energy point to fight a monster and you get another energy point ever 5 minutes or so, and your max energy points increases every level. I bet a 10 year old with C++ training could write that script.

There was an oldschool 40k game for the PC called: Final Liberation: Warhammer Epic 40,000. The graphics where maybe 16bits of color, 32 at the most, and the game engine was pretty simplistic. I bet they could transfer that to Facebook some how with ease.

Alas, I am an American, and copy rights do not transfer over seas. What that means is if I pitched the idea to them they could just take it and run with it. So I am reaching out to my fellow Dakka Dakka brothers and sisters who live "across the pond"...Do any of you "blokes" know how to program? You might be able to tap into this cash crop if you write up the scripting and pitch it to them along with a "spot of tea" to get them relaxed and ready to listen. ( I mean no offense, I'm just trying to cross the language gap between English and Americanese )

All I ask is please make mention of me, your "ol'chap" from Dakka Dakka, and let me share in some of the spoils if you get any. I can help with ideas, styles of game play, research and gathering data. I'm an ideas guy, that is what I do, I sit and think and think and run circles in my head all day long until I can find some one to help me find the proper outlet to get these ideas out of my head and into the real world.

Any one else interested in seeing just a fun and basic little game app for Warhammer, both 40k and WHFB? Any one else have some ideas on what they would like it to look like/play like? I'm guessing most of us have Facebook, and most of those who do have played a game or two so we know what types of games are out there. And why stop there? Why not phone apps? 40k on the go, WHFB in the palm of your hand. the sky is the limit.
