Does anyone remeber the awesome mech game shogo and how cool it was?

I've always wondered why monolith didn't make a sequel or something like that.

It looks awesome but I have never played it because when I first played video games I was too young to have played the Mech sub genre.

A very nice game when it does not freeze up on me

I love Shogo so much. It was one of my original faves. I still have my disks but I can not run it on Windows 7 (as I have not attempted to run any sort of virtual environment that will support it).

Its a bit dorky but the intro song used to get me pumped to play more. I definitely think that game was unfairly underrated.
