Anyone else here play War at Sea (W@S)? For those of you who don't know, it is a WW II collectable minis game that, despite its name, has very little to do with the A&A board game. I got big into the game while I was living in San Diego, as there was a group of players that met at the Eagle & Empire store on a regular basis. It is a very "beer & pretzels" game that simplifies a lot of things, but I find it retains enough depth and complexity to be interesting. What do you guys think?

Ive played it in the past. Fun game and very laid back.

We play it here fairly regularly. Last game was a big beat'em'up a couple of weeks back with approximately 500pt fleets made up entirely of Battleships. Loads of fun

Sounds like it! I've been thinking about running a US vs. Japan battleship game. Nothing like throwing 12+ dice in one go...

"Legends tell that only one challenger, clad in the guise of a young girl with a little black dog, managed to make her way through all of the gates. When Great Tzeentch questioned him about this failure, the Guardian accused her of cheating."
