Thats all well and good but what do you plan to kill stuff with?

checkerbord the field and throw sharp stuff, shats all i need to do just walk forward and wash em away

I know one of the Warmongers ran an army like this (only at 2250 I think). His plan was usually to manipulate enemy units into getting on a hill, where in 7th, the entire unit could see and throw sharp stuff. Not sure if it'll work as well in this one, especially given the post-combat reform stuff?

I would usually file this list under the "fun to write, not to build and maybe not to play" category.

damnit, well thats annoyin, ah well. my local FLGS was closing down and selling everything dirt cheap, i got 20 boxes of gnoblars for 5 bucks each!!!!

ah well i guess ill drop a unit for another commander, i have a test game today and then on saturday im gonna try a 2k vs empire and im thinking ill add some boglars and blood gnoblars as well as more lucky gits

I was thinking about a gnoblar army when I picked up the old WD a few days a go. I think it won't be as bad as people think. The number of sharp stuff shots you will get is stupidly high. With that many dice you will kill something. The problem comes when they hit you.

I think as many lucky gits as you can get may be the way to go. Rerolls on the sharp stuff is nasty and a 6+ makes them harder to kill. If you protect them by sacrificing fighter units to tie up enemies, those rerolls are definately worth 3 points each.

I also think the rhinox horm may be worth considering, if things go badly Ld7 is a lot better than ld 5.

true true, im also liking the whole rerolling dice thing lucky gits have, i think some yhettis and a giant might improve my sitch

They can take Yettis and Giants? I couldn't find that on in my WD. That makes them a lot more powerful. Giants may be a bit expensive but yettis would be good.

Any link to this army list? I dont have any WD but this list sounds cool! (and fragile as skaven slaves!)

wow these gnoblars will kill each other (well bicker anyways!) before the enemy does! looks fun, especially with the new common magic items
