this is my list so far, I was wondering if I was better off adding another assault squad in a razorback and upgrading the Furioso Dread to a Libby dread with lance and flight instead of the Honour Guard

Well this list wouldn't last two turns against IG vets/gunline/blob, and from what I've heard, the razorspam list only really works with the space pups.

If you're taking BA terminators, why aren't you taking a Sanguinary Priest in Terminator armour with them!? FnP termies are uber cheesy-unkillable fun. Although a standard LR isn't big enough for them.. a Redeemer or Crusader are just as good (if in different ways).

Mephiston won't last long against a player that knows how to deal with him (swarm, power weapons, plasma and melta, Lascannons etc) - the only real way to keep him alive is to get good rolls on your wings of sanguinius psychic tests and hide behind your Razorbacks/LR.

One of (if not THE) greatest assets for BA armies is the Priests - especially if you have lots of troops. I would suggest looking at other peoples' BA lists of similar size (1500-2000pts) to get an idea of what other people use.

So basically you haven't disagreed with me at all.

I wrote that Mephiston has his weaknesses - so does anything - but it's quite a big point when you make an investment like that (1/6th of 1500).

I also said that razorspam only works with Space pups from what I've heard. I am aware that BA have advantages in this field, but I merely think that the army list is capable of stronger lists than the razorspam.

But at the end of the day, the two biggest factors are:
1) How skilled the players are.
2) Whether the dice gods smile upon you or not.





EDIT: BA razorspam should have priests with them. That's what the 6 man capacity is meant for!

so 21 models and only 10 are scoring... kinda risky in a small points skirmish. heres my 1500 BA list... currently 4-0-1 (tied another BA player few weeks back)
