Do mounts have to make a fear check when fighting scary units?

I know that the riders will have to make their check to avoid WS1, but do the mounts?
If the riders are cowards and fail their fear check, do the mounts WS drop to a 1 as well?

If one aspect of the model causes fear, I think it's pretty safe to say that the entire model causes fear.

It's a single model, so the one check applies to both, and if failed both WS would drop to 1.

What about say goblin wolf riders? The goblins fear elves but the wolves don't. Not sure what the rules say about fear with cav units. But frenzy says it doesn't carry over so not sure since I'm at work without my book.

The rules for psycology are clear that if either the rider or mount are subject to the relevent tests then you take one.

naturally you use the effected models Ld for the test.

One model one test, in case of multyple profiles use highest available stat, so fear test is on the rider's LD and if it fails both are WS 1.
