Since I am starting another IG army. I am looking to make the standard Cadian guardsmen a bit more interesting by adding gas masks. So my question is does anybody know of any non GW model makers who would make something the correct size. If possible I would like something along the lines of the Russian GP-5, but so long as it has eye 'holes' and a filter I shall not be to fussy.

Pig Iron makes some great gasmasked heads. Alot of guys use them for their armies on here.

prince agustine (spelling) puts out a cheep 30 euro for 80 plastic minis, the heads come seperate, id check it out as there is an english style and a german.

Someone else had told me Pig Iron would be a good place to look as well. But I also heard they are a bit small for the Guardsmen bodies.

I use Pig Iron on my guard along with a lot of other guys on dakka.

Also take a look at West Wind Productions' stuff. They've got gas masked heads for Germans, Americans, British, and Russians--all done up as a kind of "Weird War II".

SRM, your pictures have made me realise I will need to give them gloves as well. Can I just paint the hands? Using green stuff is not exactly my strongest point.
