Long version? No. The score windows gives you is a crappy indication of how well it'll run anything. Just look at the System Requirements on the box and open your System Information tab.

Learn about your computer. If you can't figure this out, put it back in the box and take it back to the store.
SysInfo is not hard to decipher.
If you are using a basic - out of the box - desktop or laptop and you want to run latest graphics hungry game - you're normally SOL unless it's a pretty spec computer.

I thought that no one actually used the Windows Experience Index? It doesn't even mean anything; it's literally based on the 'worst' aspect of your computer.
It's really not that hard to do a bit of research to find out if your computer is compatible with a game you really want. It's generally not a good practice to go impulse shopping with PC games anyway, if you can even find a store that really sells them anymore.

Haha i agree the base score is crap. Its not very useful....
If you had any sence you would go to a site like pcspecialist or cyberpower and custom build a PC. I done it about half a year ago and im lovin my new pc. Might not be able to run all games to max graphic settings but it runs most games easily compared to my other PC that i had for about a year. Can see the custom built PC lasting more than that
EDIT: only get a custom built PC if you know most of the internal components lol

on-topic when they improve the technology it will be easer also basing it off worst score tells you that your computer is only as good as its worst part

I might be inclined to believe that if more than half of your posts weren't internet memes clogging up the off-topic forum.

That's not beneficial in telling you what you need to run a game. If the WEI is simply your lowest score, then the best component required to run the game would have to be the game's score. However, that does absolutely nothing to tell you the minimum requirements of other aspects of your system. Computers run on separate components; the requirements for a game are separated for a reason.
Also, my computer is often times better than it's worst part. My graphics card isn't all that great, but I'm usually able to run games that my graphics card is not supposed to run (within reason) because I have a core i7 processor and 16 gigs of ram.
