Can someone please fill me in with what we know so far about whether or not FW are planning a Warlord Titan. I'm planning on having someone build me a Warlord Titan next summer. I will then be sending it to BlueTablePainting in Utah to have it painted. I would be willing to wait and see what FW come up with. Below is a link to a photo of another Titan built by the person who would be building mine.

Forge World plan on making one, but not for quite a while as they have the Phantom in the works at the moment. The one in the photo you posted is actually pretty awesome, nice proportions and quite well detailed.

The one in the picture would actually be even more detailed as I was planning on having the painting service add cities of death and vehicle parts to it from their massive collection of bitz. I won't be commissioning the Titan until at least next summer so I will have to wait and see for further developments. What would you assume we are
talking about when it comes to time? Should we expect it within a year or two?

Bud, that custom titan is liekly to be on-par with the awesomeness level of anything Forgeworld would build. Also, I'm guessing said custom titan will not carry the $3000 or so pricetag (unpainted) that FW would.

Does the fellow who built that titan have a website?

And for future reference (and not being a dick here, just trying to help you along with your stay at dakka), its considered good etiquette to only post in news and rumors if you actually have news or a rumor. If you're asking a question regarding one, it generally goes in dakka discussion.

To answer your question, yes FW is supposedly planning on one, but it may be 2 years or more.

Thank you for your response and thank you for actually being civil about it. Now, about the Titan builder. He doesn't actually have a site as far as I know but you can reach him on YouTube. His account name is GreenRanger989. He has a video up of one of his older Titans but he says that they have improved a lot. He also says that they are currently building one for someone in the UK but that after that he would love to talk about doing another one for me.

You can still change the misleading title through edit if you feel like it.

The titan you have posted looks as though it could've been built by forgeworld as it really looks the part.

On a side note - anything posted in this forum fishing for information should be ended by a question mark as I'm sure you are now aware of!

My advice - get your warlord from your intended source.

You'll have it a lot quicker than waiting on a worlord from forgeworld.

OTOH - I'm looking forward and now saving for the Phantom.

I'm doing the Eldar happy dance at this moment.

The guy at the Forge World presentation at Games Day stated that there were plans to make a Warlord Titan, but we shouldn't expect to see anything about it for around two years.

Same here. The news & rumour forum is for providing news & rumours and you provided neither. A quick search or common sense would have lead you to the last Games Day thread where a bit info was shed.

That Warlord looks sick! I'd like to know how much you're paying for it too, if you don't mind sharing.

In all honesty I doubt FW would ever make one. I mean the thing is either as big as or bigger than the Tau Mant Missile Destroyer & that doesn't sell very well plus it's made-to-order.

'Doesn't sell very well' by what metric, exactly? At last count FW has sold what was it, 34 Mantas? Seems like a decent return so far. And for something that size, being made to order is actually a plus.
