When testing for strength, do you include strength modifiers? For example, Halberdier, Original str 3, modified to 4. Does he fail(and die) on a roll of 4+ or 5+(with halberd modifier)?

sorry this is sucha noob question but i have no 7th ed background so this is all pretty new to me.

As far as I know, you do not add the S value of weapons to a characteristic test of the model.

**Edit** At least not for something like a regular halberd or a great weapon.

Not so sure about magic weapons that add +S value... but my gut would say that those too do not add to your S when testing for lurkers.

Strength tests are on the models profile, which deos not alter when buying weapons - unless the weapon states differently.
