I'm digging out my beastmen... I don't have the latest army book (yet) but .. are ungors on the small 20mm bases now? can't tell exactly from the pictures on gw's site.

if so... why? now I gotta rebase all my models? :( fooey!

or is 25mm bases still ok since I'm using "the bases they came with" ?

All new ungors use 20mm as standard. I need to get round to re-basing all of mine :(. Happened with the last army book due to them not needing to rank up with gors due to them being separate units now. It kind of is worth it though> As you can prevent less of a front line but still get a lot of attacks in with spears.

Are the figures small enough to rank up good on small bases? My beasts are all covereted kroot models, before I was just counting spears as ungors and 2 hand weapons as gors. I guess I still can, but I'm also just woried the kroot bodies won't rank up very good on the small bases.

Normal ungors rank up fine ( older and new ones ). No idea about your kroot models. you'll have to find out yourself sorry.
