There are two Bizarre Bazaar type customer flea market events coming up in September in Virginia and Maryland. Here are some of the details for each.

The first customer flea market is on Saturday, September 4 at FTW Games in Midlothian near Richmond, VA. That is also the day that Island Of Blood is released so there will be a good opportunity there to swap or sell unwanted items from that spectacular new Warhammer Fantasy boxed set. Full details of the FTW Games Miniature Market can be found at this link. FTW Games is an independent game store so you can trade or sell all of your different types of game merchandise regardless of manufacturer.

Then, on Saturday, September 25 there is Bizarre Bazaar at the Games Workshop store in Annapolis, MD at the Jennifer Square shopping center. Of course, trading and selling are limited to GW merchandise as it is a GW store. According to the store flyer promoting the event "everyone who participates will have the chance to get some cool swag!" The address is 167 Jennifer Road in Annapolis, MD 21401.

I attended both of the last Saturday flea market events at each of the stores listed above and both were well attended with lots of good merchandise, bargains and trading going on. Both stores operate their flea markets on the store credit system so that if you buy something from another attendee the value of the purchase goes into store credit or a gift card for that person. Of course, sometimes you can also make some good trades without spending any money at all. There certainly were some good deals to be had at the last few events. I got a Land Raider new in box at FTW's last flea market for just $20 and I got my son a nicely built Ork Trukk for $4 at the last Annapolis GW flea market! I also turned some of my unwanted items into nice new ones by selling them for store credit. These events work best when the turnout of buyers and sellers is large so let's hope for good attendance that will make these events a big success.

Darn, the one in Annapolis is the same day as the 'Ard Boyz semis! I was thinking of going, I have a few nicely painted models that I'm looking to sell to fund new purchases. I'm not sure if there's much of a market for well painted models for around retail price, though...

Here's a list of some of what I'll be bringing to the Annapolis GW Bizarre Bazaar assuming it doesn't get snapped up before then. If anyone local is interested in any of this before the Bizarre, send me a PM here on Dakka. Please, local trades only that can be done in person at a safe, mutually agreeable location. I don't sell or swap things over the Internet without the buyer and seller protection offered by eBay and PayPal. Thanks.

Flea Market Swap/Sale Items:
- Metal Bestigor and Pestigor, half the price of the newer plastics
- Vortex Grenade Template for Apocalypse 40K. Limited, out of print and now rare.
- Metal Eldar War Walkers (3), built and painted.
- Krootox (new in blister)
- Khazrak One Eye (new in blister)
- Night Goblin Netters (new in blister)
- Tau Orca Class Escort for BFG (new in blister)
- Warhammer Belt Pouch (new in package), out of print
- Various metal bitz, including feathered wings, daemon prince wings, tails, Chaos champion arms, Chaos Terminator Arms, out of print Legion of the Damned shoulder pads, Minotaur arms and head, Horse heads, and more.

If I come up with more things to add to the list, I'll post again closer to the event.

The last Saturday Bizarre Bazaar event at Annapolis GW was well attended and there were plenty of great deals to go around whether you were buying, selling or swapping. I was quite pleased with the bargains I found and with the gift card I had wating for me at the end. This Sept. 25 event is being well promoted and should have a good turnout, so please come if you can. See you on Sept. 25!

Is anyone coming to the Bizarre Bazaar on Sept. 25 at Annapolis GW interested in Grey Knights in Power Armor? I have a bunch, mostly assembled but not painted (a few primed black), and was thinking of selling them for about 30% off list. Before I stick them on eBay I wanted to see if there were any Bazaar attendees interested in this. Here's an inventory of what I have, also showing what GW is currently charging for these models:

- Justicars, $13.25 each from GW: 3 complete, 1 w/o backpack, 1 w/o weapon arm and w/o backpack
- Troopers, $8.63 each from GW: 11 complete, 2 w/o backpack, 1 w/o weapon arm and w/o backpack
- Incinerator, $15.00 each from GW: 3 complete, 1 w/o backpack
- Psycannon, $14.00 each from GW: 5 complete

If it's something in which you're definitely interested, let me know ASAP via the messaging system here on Dakka. Thanks.

The Sept. 25 Bizarre Bazaar at Annapolis GW is now exactly one week away! If anyone is interested in Land Raiders at just over 25% off the usual $62 and tax free, I'll have two brand new in box to trade there along with some other good stuff.

On top of the normal huge variety of customer merchandise for sale, there should be a ton of additional good stuff available from a lot of people who attended the cheap sprue and bits sell-off that they had at the Battle Bunker's last day today.

This event has been heavily promoted for weeks to every customer at the store and at surrounding areas stores like the Battle Bunker. I've also promoted it online in a few different places including this one. The turnout should be tremendous as will the bargains and the trading opportunities! If you need information directly from the store the phone number is 410-266-8923. Otherwise, I'll do my best to provide info here as it is requested.

The Annapolis GW store opens at 12 PM noon on Saturdays. Be there early on September 25 so you don't lose the best bargain opportunities to someone else!

Bizarre Bazaar at Games Workshop, Jennifer Square in Annapolis, MD is this coming Saturday, Sept. 25! Doors open at noon.

Some of the items I will be adding to my selling and trading table are:

- General's Compendium. Brand new copy, this out of print supplement for Warhammer Fantasy is chock full of amazing rules, campaign, hobby and variant ideas including rules for WFB naval combat.
- Bestigor and Pestigor metal, one piece models. The current Bestigor models cost $41.25 from GW, I'll be selling them for less than half of that.
- Bitz (metal), including Chaos Terminator arms, daemonic tails, wings, classic Legion of the Damned shoulder pads and more.
- Space Hulk. I may bring a brand new still sealed copy of Space Hulk to sell as well. If someone is interested in arranging a deal for that ahead of time, please send me a PM here on Dakka and if we come to an agreement we can do the transaction on Saturday at the Bazaar.
- Land Raiders, new in box, approximately 26% off list.
- Collectibles. These will not be bargain priced, they fetch good money on eBay. But I will be willing to trade or sell them for decent offers. Some collectibles I'm bringing are:
- - Limited Edition Chaos Sorcerer, circa 2004
- - Games Day 2009 Chaos Exalted Hero.
- - Games Day 2010 Chaos Sorcerer.

See you on Saturday, fellow Rogue Traders!

So how does this work? You bring your stash of unwanted goods and people bid on them? And you get store credit for the items? Or cash?

Cause I wouldn't mind just bringing in my junk and getting a fresh new start with the upcoming DE items.

So how does this work?

All money is exchanged through purchasing gift cards at the cash register, no cash can change hands in the store. That way the store benefits and the customers still get to buy new stuff in lieu of what they sold to someone else. Haggling is commonplace at these flea markets.

Bring any models or bits you want to trade or sell, be they new and unused, built and painted, or somewhere in between. As long as it's GW product bring it!

The last such Saturday flea market at GW Annapolis was wildly successful. Turnout for this one should be good as we've promoted it for weeks to many, many people. The more people the better the selection and chance to make deals, so hope to see you there.
