Long time reader first time poster.
Not really sure about my guard list and was wondering what you guys think about it.

1-3 squads are combined with a lascannon and plasma per a squad with a commissar in one squad
4th squad mounted in a vendetta.

I would lose the las/plas on platoon. BS3 doesnt really help which makes them expensive. give them grenade launchers and flamers for command (maybe a chimera) and grenade launchers/sniper rifles and autocannons for squads. with points saved maybe you could outfit the vets with meltas which they desperately need, otherwise they'd be BS4 guardsmen with nothing to do. Maybe swap out the LM with 2 Hydras or get some chimeras

2) Alright then, I like to go down category by category so here we go!

HQ: Good overall, but I would like to point out that this combination may force you to give up something each turn. You're going to have to spend a few turns getting close enough to fire your plasma, and that sacrifices your lascannon. I personally would just take the plasma for all 3 and send them forward, as you seem to have a rather mobile force.

Troops: Same critiques for the CCS apply to the PCS, and since your list seems mobile, I'd go for the plas again. Though you might want to consider meltas to give you an extra close range antitank punch. For your infantry squads....Same complaint as earlier, and this time I would recommend not wasting the points on plasma, as the low BS of your Guardsmen means you'll be wasting it more often than not. Try to avoid mounting expensive special weapons with your infantry. I also would not mount a regular Guardsmen squad in a Vendetta. Maybe use the points you get from dropping special weapons from you Guard squads to get a veteran squad instead? Now, here is where I get to my biggest problem with your list...You have a Veteran squad in a Vendetta and you aren't taking any special weapons! Veteran Squads are one of the best special weapons platforms in the game, and you spend your points getting them special weapons than your footslogging Guardsmen.

Fast Attack: Vendetta good. Vendetta good. Banewolf? Eh? No, don't take one vehicle that you send off on its own. The IG work by crushing an enemy beneath so many units of one type that they can't hope to kill them all at once. That's how mech guard works (CHimera/Valkyrie spam) and how swarm Guard works (troop spam). The Guard does not have units that go out on their lonesome. That is how you kill Guard units.

Heavy Support: Good, good. I have no complaint with this. Demolisher kills everything, and yeah. If anything, I'd say drop the regular Leman Russ in order to give you the points to pay for the changes I've recommended. Maybe even get another Vendetta with Veterans squad?
