Hi guys, Ive come across other table top wargaming companies in the past, but frankly, they all suck compared to GW.

Im just wondering is there any other companies that do modern day (fictional) or Sci-fi models.

Before some sisters come in here and stake me, This is entirely out of interest, and maybe perhaps for counts as models, I am not switching hobbies

Here are some pictorial examples, and if anyone could tell me what hobby these guys are from that would be insanely awesome and I would have your babies.

(Before this thread gets thrown into off topic, I am looking to do some conversions into 40k, or use those female snipers as ratlings, everyone knows girls are ws2 (joke))

The snipers really catch my eye, anyone who knows anything about what hobby their from please speak up, they are fine models and would work well for a conversion

The troopers are cool as, although the fact that they seem to be on 25mm (terminator) bases makes conversion / fitting into a 40k army a bit of an ass. I love the heavy weapon, awesomesauce, but another troubling factor is the sign down the bottom, (RACKHAM 1996 - 2007) which looks to me like a rest in peace sign D: meaning that if RACKHAM (the supposed hobby these guys are from) is dead, they will be extremely hard/expensive to aquire.

Anyone who has seen either of these anywhere ever please info would be awesome!

Rackham is the company, and they are still around. Those look like at-43 mini's.

A quick google search would probably give you better info than assuming that the company is dead.

If I'm not mistaken the company is French, I don't know if they have a US/UK/English version website. They also were in charge of the Confrontation game system.

It's already been answered, but I figured I'd poke some fun at Jaon, given the opportunity.

Jaon, take a look at the second picture. Bottom left hand corner.

I wonder if you see a company logo there?

To poke some fun back, I did mention that in the OP!

And heaven forbid if the Marine would also happen to have an intimidating looking, vertical scar. Then you're surly boned. Those guys are the worst. Not a chance I'd say.
