Unless they have a specific thing in there rules that says they do not suffer a penalty for multiple shots then yes they do...

However you can choose to only make one shot and ignore the -1.

As noted - if you choose to use multiple shots then you suffer a -1 penalty, regardless of how many shots above 1 you fire. As noted you can choose to fire only a single shot which does not incur "multiple shots"
