I don't know what a satanic death cult is. But Grosse Point Blank is one of my top five movies, so I'm willing to at least hear him out.

When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

About to eat your Avatar...

“I AM FOR A SATANIC DEATH CULT CENTER AT FOX NEWS HQ AND OUTSIDE THE OFFICES ORDICK ARMEYAND NEWT GINGRICH-and all the GOP WELFARE FREAKS,” Cusack tweeted.

CAPITAL LETTERS MAKES IT APPEAR AS IF MY VOLUME HAS INCREASED. HAIL SATAN.

This is just odd. John Cusack has been in a lot of really good movies yet I still regard his input as limited by his current career path. Call that what you will but I prefer to remove actors and movies in general from determining the information I use to come to a decision.

Cooper Lawrence, the author of “Cult of Celebrity” told Fox 411: “The fear isn't that a celebrity will influence someone to do something violent or out of character due to the sheer devotion to the celebrity, the fear is that someone who is already vulnerable, mentally disturbed, already considering something dangerous, may be encouraged to do so if it is advocated by their favorite star,”

Fair enough, I would have questions for FOXnews on that very subject.

Now, for come serious business death metal.

Gorgoroth is in your church pooping in your holy water. Gorgorath is also led by a psychotic mountain-man, one who would walk into a church and poop in your holy water.

For anyone interested, here is the third person view (in part) of a fecal spewing mountain man. One who sits there for the last few minutes of the mini-doc. Sits there, yes, just sits there, waiting for their answers to actually make an impact and to be of actual substance. Being quiet and scary-like does not make this cat anything less than the psychotic mountain-man he clearly is. OT, but whatevs.

That looks a bit like a nuclear mushroom cloud he has drawn on the blackboard but it's not quite the right shape. It reminds me of something, though, I can't quite think what.

BTW the blackboard is more proof if it were needed of America's ageing infrastructure. In Japan or any European country they would use a whiteboard or interactive board.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Wait, you're not comforted to know that Segreant Pepper's Lonely hearts club band really is part of the apocalypse?

I'd take a decent blackboard over a whiteboard any day. I DON'T CARE WHAT THE LIBERALS THINK!

So is a satanic death like falling from Mount Everest onto a spikey metal fence?

Or is it carving a pentagram on you and ripping out your still beating heart? I'm curious.

It better be or the sequined marching band outfit purchases for the family would be for nothing.

It isn't anything. Cusack actually called for a Satanic Death Cult, which would presumably be a death cult that believes in Satanism. Fraz just phrased it that way in his thread title because, well, he's Fraz.

Meanwhile, a celebrity likely got drunk and blew off some steam with a stupid and largely incoherent post. Whatever. People care because he's a celebrity, otherwise it'd just be added to the great stream of incoherent political commentary we see on the internet. Whether their opinions are presented in an acceptable, coherent manner or not, I'm left wondering why we should care what any person famous for acting thinks about politics.

The funny part of the story is FOX's concern that incendiary rhetoric might lead to someone doing something violent. Earlier this year Byron Williams was driving to the offices of the Tides Foundation to shoot the place up and start a revolution. Fortunately he was stopped on the way by local police, and no officers were harmed in the ensuing gunfight. The Tides Foundation is an obscure organisation that basically funds a variety of progressive causes, that only appeared on the radar of the loonie right when Glen Beck started railing against them in 2009.

So yeah, when FOX News talks about how people need to be careful about what they say and how it might effect unbalanced people, it's pretty damn funny.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

Adam Smith, who must have been some kind of leftie or something.
