When Space Wolves came out with their own battleforce/box set, i thought that it would be a trend for my of the independant SM chapters. As a BA player I would like to have a Battleforce, with a rhino, 2 assault squads and a sanguinary priest, or something along those lines. A chapter specific troop pack would be nice too. I would love to have BA over my guys. Are space wolves that special or is this a good idea. Same idea could go to chaos factions and has already been done with IG.
Just remembered about the DA ravenwing box set.

Sang Priest would be impossible unless they shove in a command. but then that would be too much I think and NO BA only parts (20 assaults is $120 already, pretty much caps it)
maybe 10 assaults, 5 sanguinary guard, and 5 death company
chaos is pretty much impossible unless we are talking about daemons
remember, it has to be all plastic

Space Wolves are, in fact, that special. The basic models for Space Wolves are incredibly different than the standard Space Marine/Blood Angel/Dark Angels/Black Templar models.
Blood Angel Tactical squads are equipped the same, with very little difference to the standard setup of Marine armor.

There is a Blood Angels troop box, it's called the Death Company box. There's absolutely nothing stopping you from not using the cross shoulder pads and just painting them red instead of black. All the GW promotional Blood Angels are made from said kit. Just mix it in with your tactical Marine kits like Space Wolf players have been doing since the 90s. I am surprised there was no battleforce for them though.

Yea I mentioned that. 10 Assaults, 5 DC, and 5 Guard is roughly $130. If at $90, that would take care of a good starting force and BA parts

What about adding in a Baal Pred? Thats distinctively BA?
Sorry haven't read the new codex. But IIRC all the battleboxes come with a vehicle of some sort, and usually 1 unit thats average to lame.

I reckon the Blood Angels Battleforce should come with 20 Assault Marines, a Baal Predator and a Furioso Dreadnought. Maybe instead of the Baal Pred just have 5 Tactical Marines and a Razorback. I do think that Blood Angels should get this seen as though Space Wolves and Dark Angels have a Battleforce for themselves.

A space marine battleforce is $157 of product for $90. A SW battleforce is $130 dollars of materials.
Based off this 2 assault units, 1 ball pred, and 1 Death Company would roll in at 143 dollars and would be a good BA bargain.

Alright I can roll with that. 50% of the units are full BA units. I dont like the 2 Assaults, 1 Baal, 1 Dread since only ONE kit is contributing BA parts

I'd like to see a Daemons battleforce. My Daemons never get no love.
10 Bloodletters, 10 Horrors, 5 Seekers, and a Soul Grinder sounds pretty sweet.
Alternately, God-specific battleforces: 20 Bloodletters, 3 Bloodcrushers, and a plastic DP; 20 Daemonettes, 5 Seekers, and a plastic DP.
And that's about all you could do since there are exactly zero plastic Nurgle Daemons, and only a smattering of plastic Tzeentch Daemons.
