Get that plywood out everyone in the Eastern Seaboard of the United States! We have a hurricane with a redneck sounding name coming!

Anyone gonna prepare for this thing?

As a Floridian I firmly believe that if you ignore a hurricane it will probably go away. Sometimes I'm wrong but dammit not often.....

In your base, ignoring your logic.

I have my canoe, I'm ready. If the nor-easter can flood us, well actually just about anything can flood us thanks to being at sea level.

Pfft...Chuck Norris will roundhouse kick that storm into outerspace before it gets anywhere near Texas Ranger territory.

We have Martha Stewart up here near New England. What do you think she'll do for us?

Appparently, it's blowing itself out to a degree, and is now only class 2.

Still, good luck to those in it's path!

I'm not terribly worried myself as I live at a decent altitude compared to the rest of my area and I am on the same power grid as a hospital and 2 schools that act as emergency shelters so we usually get power back first in town. I am a bit worried abut my father who lives in the middle of no where with about 5 other crazy mountain people within about 5 mile radius and no emergency services. No running water, power they have to buy from a logging company and no paved roads. I'll be keeping my eye on him. We're not as prone to violent weather in New England, but I've lived through my fair share. Still, let's hope it doesn't amount to much.

If destruction is to be our lot, we ourselves must be its authors. As a nation of freemen we shall live forever or die by suicide.
