I haven't played a game in 8th ed yet, but I would consider dropping the banners and musicians from your archers and use the points elsewhere. In a unit of 10 archers you can already put them in a 2x5 set up and both ranks can shoot. So, you wouldn't really need the musician to quick reform. The standards will probably be lost and count as victory points against you since 10 archers probably won't hold up well in CC.
Also, you may want to consider dropping the level 2 mage and if you have the points I'd add Caradryan to your white lions. He'll give them all a 4+ ward save against wounds caused from spells. He also causes fear, so any unit that charges the white lions and is in base to base contact with him will have to test for fear. And he's good in CC. And he is a great body guard for mages.
However, if that's what you want, go for it. I like the idea of a themed army with citizen soldiers. I am working on a list myself that has mainly core units.
Good luck!
