Well. I made this list in mind that I own 20 CSM units, a couple of rhinos, x8 zerks, a DP and a Greater Daemon. Also I'm going to be playing it against a friend of mine who's using IG and I've talked about it and what his army will look like in this thread " http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/314639.page " But here's my attempted list consisting of models I own and expansions. It's welcome to change and criticism.

X2 Daemon Princes, MoT, Wings
X1 Greater Daemon 400 pts

X5 Chosen, x4 Meltaguns, Champ + Meltabombs, Rhino 180 pts

X10 CSM, IoCG, x2Flamer, Rhino + Havoc Launcher
X10 CSM, IoCG, x2Flamer, Rhino + Havoc Launcher
X8 Zerks, Champ + PW, Rhino + Havoc Launcher 690 pts

X1 Pred w/ SS Heavy Bolters + Havoc Launcher

I tried to field all the troop choice I already own. And try to spam / be opressive with some firepower. I know he's going to have IG on foot without much carapace armor. So ap 5 TL blast weapons should do the trick for only like 70 pts for them all.

looks pretty solid. although don't you want lascannons on predators to take tanks out at range? you have enough anti-infantry.

I don't trust Lascannons very often. It's a lot of points for one shot. Maybe it's my ork mentality of dakka. I assume anything of high AV value will just have to get suicide melta'd or MCd. Thats my hope with this list.

Good point though, if I play against another MEQ or a different opponent than my friend's IG I'd definitely consider Lascannons.

Might want some more high S firepower incase there are a bunch of chimeras. Also not a big fan of greater daemon. already got 2 princes. maybe get a defiler or something

Well It's been awhile since I touched this post.

Here's what I've come up with over the last week or so. I think this list is really close to my what I finally want to field. I left the GD at home just because it's a hassle dealing with how to field him.

I think it fields enough troops to handle objectives and enough bodies to hurt people. I tried to make it versatile still. Lots of ranged, lots of TL blast templates, Rhino wall still, but w/ a lash.

The Chosen squad is only outfitted that way because I'd hate to outflank on the wrong side and just be screw balled away from tanks. It's just to make sure they deliver a payload somewhere.

I came to the conclusion that Havok Launchers were the quick fix to fighting my friends IG. Just because I always have a bunch of rhinos. and it gives a long range weapon thats AP 5. I should definately have more than enough tank killing power. Lots of meltas, ACs, and 2 MCs.
