Big Mek w/ KFF

15 Lootas

20 Shoota Boyz w/ nob with PK and BP

20 Shoota Boyz w/ nob with PK and BP

19 Grots w/ runtherd

3 Killa Kans with rokkits

3 Killa Kans with rokkits

Total: 997pts

I think this army would do pretty good against most opponents, though fully mechanised armies or speed freakes might be a little anoying. What I first found myself lacking was any ranged tank-hunting so i swape the zookas for rokkits on the kans. Stupid move? Or...

I might divide the lootas into smaller mobs, depending on the enemy. 5 man mobs are indeed more flexible but 15 lootas WILL do a real mess of most things.

Ya, can be a tough choice. I would actually split the 6 killa kans into 3 groups of 2 and then switch just one to grotzookas. Even if you keep all rokkits there's is really no reason not to split them into 3 groups, they can still walk up in a line anyway and it forces them to have more units to target.

I'd probably also split lootas into either 8 and 7 or 3 of 5. Either is fine, if you need to you can still shoot them all at one target.

If you take one unit of 2 using grotzookas, then with the 10 points I'd probably take 2 BS on one of the squads (and put that one in the back if you're not going side by side)

You must understand that for an ork a day that starts off killing something with your bare hands, and ends with those same hands being chopped off in battle, is a good one.

What's betta than one choppa? Two choppas!!! Two choppas is one more than...is one times da...IS LOTS MORE FUN!! WAAAAGH!!!

Well, the main reason for grotzookas is that 6 S5(or 6?) blastmakers can potentionally ruin any infantry squad, and the you just need to chop up the vehiecles! the thng is that tanks tend to bring anti-tank guns and what good will grotzookas do if you get blown up before even reachen the enemy? This is howerer a miner insurance as theres already a KFF mek close by...

Perhaps ill go all grotzookas and use the spare points for ome BS for the Shoota boyz. Or go 50:50 w/ one rokkit kan mob and one zooka kan mob.

What do you mean by?: "and put that one in the back if you're not going side by side" Dont really get it...

The vast blue ocean

I think you have enough anti-infantry firepower, stick with the rokkits to pop transports.

What I meant was if you have one of your boyz units stretched out in front of the other one, so one is behind the other, (so not marching up side by side) the unit with the 2 big shootas should be the one in the back because they have longer range. This way if the front group is barely in range of their 18" shootas and fires at a target, then the back group who is stuck behind them and wouldn't get anywhere by running, can still shoot their big shootas. If they are in the front group you might be tempted to shoot them once you get within 36" of something rather than running and it slows your entire force down.

Mostly it doesn't matter too much, as long as you keep the KFF close enough to give the kan wall obscured. (and yes grotzookas are 6S AP5)

I see.

Good ponit about the transports, rokkits could also be usefull for catching Falcons and it's likes by stunnin them. Also usefull against other walkers like dreadnoghts.

I think ill go for rokkits to start with, i guess im just gonna have to find a way to swap the guns around it I'm end up very dissapointed with rokkits

Other than that, is the list fine?
