Hey all,

I play Last Night on Earth, fun game. I've got a bunch of zombies from that and heroes and then some custom zombies and what not. Just wanted to see if anyone out here in Dakka-land knew of any tabletop zombie games or rule sets that would let someone play 28mm models in a way similar to something like Warhammer.

Cheers!

There was a GW minigame called "Night of the plastic dead" that was on their website quite awhile ago.
It was for 2-4 players and a riot to play.

Counts as Tomb Kings maybe?

I always liked the tile game, Zombies.

Yeah, been thinking about trying Zombies for a bit, but I didn't know if there was anything out there like WH dealing with the zombie apocalypse.

When I eventually dive into WHF I'll probably play as Vampire Counts, I like the zombies and skeletons...and vampire knights on horseback...good stuff.

Alternatly you could probably use them as counts as something in Malifaux, mainly in the Resurrectionist faction.

Shockforce, now War Engine, is available for free on the net, or you can scrounge a printed rule book for a about $5 off the Yahoo Group. Has rules to custom build all your forces, if you don't want to use the pre-made armies. The default game setting is scifi, but there is nothing in the mechanics to prevent you from running a fantasy setting with it.

Zombies!!! is pretty fun and has a lot of exapnsions. Great party game even with non-gamers around.

Yes it is! I found out about them at our semi-local convention and have been obsessed with the game ever since!

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

Since you said you play Last Night on Earth alow me to warn you, in my opinion you should not play Zombies!!!
It is a terrible game, and certianlly surpised by Last Night on Earth.
Just saying.

Perhaps you could play ATZ http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/20586/atz-all-things-zombie ?

I'd search Board Game Geek, theres tons of zombie games on there.

You could try Dead Walk Again from Planned Movement Production.
The only way, currently, to get the rules is via their Yahoo group: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/deadwalkagain.
They're nice rules if you like a slightly more gritty survival-horror zombie game. Easy to learn, but their only drawback is that they don't allow player vs player violence. The weapon rules are written on the assumption that you'll only use them on zombies...

I would suggest "Incursion" from Grindhouse games.

Okay, it is WW2 with zombies but it is a tight balanced game and although clearly influenced by Space Hulk, has a lot more going for it rules wise and in the way of variable strategies.
