Ok its not totally gunline but the idea here is to really soften you up before you crash into me! Sorc probably should get death or metal to get heavy armor really annoyed. xbows and corsairs move up with hydras on flanks and riders harass. No specials and no cheap RnF troops to tarpit and spending a bunch on assassin but I wanted to see how an army would do like this (of course hydras can still really eat up some people)

320-Supreme Sorceress: Level 4, Talisman of Preservation, Tome of Furion
295-Repeater Crossbowmen (25): Full Command, Shields
155-Assassin: Manbane, Dance of Doom, Repeater Handbow
215-Corsairs (19): Full Command, Handbows
155-Assassin: Manbane, Dance of Doom, Repeater Handbow
215-Corsairs (19): Full Command, Handbows

139-Dark Riders (6): Musician, Repeater Crossbows

I think you should swap the corsairs for more xbows. They have a longer range, and will be better when combat occurs because they get the parry save.

Assassins - rending stars are better than the handbows. Also if you want them for shooting then you don't need the ward save.

Just my initial 2 cents.

"I suppose if we couldn't laugh at things that don't make sence, we couldn't react to a lot of life." - Calvin and Hobbes

DukeRustfield - There's nothing wrong with beer and pretzels. I'm pretty sure they are the most important members of the food group.

I would probably swap the dark riders for like 8 shades they will be putting out more fire than the dark riders and can try to march block on the 1st turn, also there better in combat.

I'd seriously consider yanking one or more assassins for a Master BSB with Armor of Darkness and Guiding Eye, in the large unit of RXBs.

Alright I yanked the assassin in the big unit for a BSB. Shame I dont have points for a pair of repeater handbows for him

Remove the AHW from the shades?

In 8E you really really don't want the shades ever getting into combat because they will die - unless you are using them to kill off a warmachine and you want to make sure it doesn't shoot this turn! Even then, they will take expensive casualties.

The shades exist to put RXBs into short range of the enemy on turn one.
