I have been thinking that it would be good to add a tomb king to my vampire army and use him as a wight and also use some tomb guard for grave guard. The only problem is that i am struggling with the background a bit. Please respond with your background ideas and what you think of the idea itself. Thanks.

Its called sarcasm. Really what does it taste like?

Well its a bit tough

TK HATE Vampires usually.

Maybe the Barrows Kings? A bit of fluff talking about kings that were much farther north than most of the TK (wonder if they're still Egyptian styled though)

I don't know whether to use already existing background or create an entirely new and original storyfor my army for example the tomb kings in the army are possibley possesed by a jewel the vampire posseses and some how believe he is a tomb king and are oblivious to the truth.

Its called sarcasm. Really what does it taste like?

It could just be a Vampire powerful enough to bend a Tomb King and his guard to his will. I'm not really sure on all of the history so I don't know if this works or not.

Why do I roll five 1's way more than I roll five 6's?

I quite like that idea however i would have to keep the amount of tomb kings in the army down as it wouldn't seem right if he was powerful enough to manipulate an entire force of tomb kings while also fighting.

Eh, if you like the TK look then run TK...i think it would be difficult to pull off because both armies have a very different ascetic feel to them.

Just use the models as stand-ins and wait for their new army book (which is rumored to be this winter/new year).

You could do sort of an Egyptian styled vampire army or something, as a suggestion for an original background maybe the general could be sort of an exiled vampire who's had to raise an army from the desert, bringing to life the same sort of corpses the tomb kings use where there wasn't an actual tomb king around to take control of them.
