Hey i'm just starting out my Guard army after playing with small scale Necrons and medium (1000-2000) BA when i was younger. But now my mates and i have decided to just buy armies and see where we go with them.
Anyway here's the proposed list:

HQ: CCS w/ Creed and Kell, Sniper, MoO, Astropath, OotF, Medic and Vox

Elite: Stormtrooper x10 w/ Plasma x2
Elite: Stormtrooper x10 w/ Plasma x2

Troops: Platoon Alpha;
PCS w/ GL or AC x2
Shock troops x10 w/ GL, Vox

Illegal. your Infantry squads can only have 1 special weapon, your storms can only have 10 men.

Other than that, doesnt look too effective. A titan can Roflstomp your tanks and and troops every fast. The LM squad for example is very ineffective.

Well first off i severely doubt my friends will shell out the cash for a titan each so that point is invaild.
Besides that, ok changed the error with the platoons and stormtroopers.
So what else can i do? and how is my LM squad ineffective?

You grouped them all together. So any immobilizations=instant wreck. Plus you mixed pask with executioners. so All that plamsa will fall short of any far targets and be ineffective against AV 14. Not to mention the huge point sink it is. I rather have the point equivalence of those in the form of Manticore Platforms or D weapons

I know in the 5th mobility is key but its a gunline for a reason, i dislike pure mechanised armies, so boring :(
I'm not really going to have Pask sitting around much unless he finds a bit of cover near my opponents frontline i'll probably use the 2 exterminators in a diff squas maybe iwth a executioner and put 2 vanquishers with Pask.
