Can a Herald of Tzeentch go in a unit of Bloodletters or Daemonettes? I know it is probably a stupid question, and I can't find anything that says they can not, but I just want to double check. Thanks!!

Nope. A special character can, but the heralds have to go in their own locus unit.

You could run him 3 inches away on foot and he'd get a 4+ los.

See the rules for daemonic animosity, if memory serves.

There are some characters whcih do not count as Heralds, so can join. Cheesy as hell though...

Heralds can only join their own gods, their locus ability just buffs a certain unit.

That rule doesnt exist anymore, it was an older edition.

There is nothing saying a herald of tzeentch cant join bloodletters, but you wont get the locus effect.

Page 30 states the rules for heralds. They can only join their own gods, therefore Heralds of Tzeentch cannot join a unit of bloodletters

Yup, its in a silly little place.

Oddly enough you can put skulltaker in with other Gods units, as he isnt a herald of Khorne. Stupid GW....

Same with epidemious. I think GW needs to figure out what it wants from the Daemons army.. as it is it feels cobbled together. Like they want to keep some of the backstory about animosity, but then destroy any chance of playing the army without mixxing units.

I think they need to go all the way, and let heralds in other units, or go back to 4 different lists, with more options for each god.
