Here is the first two squads finished. I finally have more guys done than not done. Woot!

Here is my Wolf Guard Termi unit. Its got Arjac, x2 WGTDA w/twin Wolf Claws, x1 basic termi, x1 Chainfist/Heavy flamer, x1 PAWG w/combi flamer, x1 PAWG basic.
The idea is to unload from the crusader, use the two flamers to thin the herd if needed. The PA guys are the first two bullet catchers.

Next is my first of two drop pod Grey Hunter squads. You notice that the PAWG (in yellow) has the same squad markings as the above. I did that because all the Wolf Guard in my army come from the same squad. The squad has 5 regular guys, 1 power weapon, one standard, one MOTW, and one meltagun.

The grey & yellow look flat, but that might just be the pics... Are they highlighted? Have you considered weathering on the tanks?

There is lots of shading on the yellow, red, and grey, but your right it didn't show up too well in the pics.

All my tanks for right now are factory fresh. I might weather them at some point in the future, but I want to get everything done before I do that just incase something goes wrong.

Weathering really isn't my forte. It comes off looking blochy instead of battle worn.

Its just they look very bright, like rouge trader era paint jobs.

Yup. Thats what I wanted. Old school paint jobs. I want accent colors that can be seen from across the gaming shop. Something that makes my guys stand out against other SW players that used Fenris Grey as a base color.

The paint jobs in the SW codex while technically really good just look so bland and lifeless. There is no character to them at all, especially the vehicles.

Your colors are really striking - could we get some closeups to better judge the painting? I'd love to see some details!
