In a few weeks I'm going to be moving to the area of Washington, D. C. in the USA. I'd like to get more involved in the gaming side of the hobby than I have been in recent years (i.e. not at all). I'm not yet sure whether I'll be living in the District itself, northern Virginia, or southern Maryland.

Are there any board members in the region, or does anyone have any tips about good gaming stores?

Welcome to the area. We have three games workshops all in the NoVA area, also have two Game Parlors in Chantilly and Woodbridge run games there all week but the main day is tuesday. Me and a few of my friends have games and tables at our house. Send me a PM if you would like to get a game in.
