Overall I think my army did well, but it relied too much on luck (with reserves coming in where and when they did, and with the Scorpions doing so well) and lacked the anti-tank ability it should have. EMLs on all the Serpents would have been a good idea. It was good to break out of my habit of playing against Necrons all the time, it really highlighted how one-dimensional my force was.

Very cool battle report; fun to read. I really like the way all those tanks are painted. My first reaction when I saw the board was what the heck is a bridge connecting nothing doing there! Other than that, well done =P

Are you playing with old edition rules? The roll for choosing table edge and going first is one and the same. Or is this a house rule.

Thanks! Zain's tanks were especially impressive in person. The pictures don't really do them justice.

Fun game. Thanks for the compliments on the tanks. I can't take credit for mine as the Man in the Mask was commissioned to paint them. D'Ork's (he actually paints his!!) has a really cool Eldar military style paint job that was clean, effective, and really made his army pop and feel catchy with Pathfinder camo. It was amazing for me seeing 10 tanks on the board.

And D'Ork, I just remembered - that last turn, I wasn't firing the BL point blank at the pathfinders, that was me trying to fry your Farseer with an overkill shot to the face to no avail.

Zain~
