How should I run an escort for my MOTF on a bike with a Conversion Beamer in a Vulkan list. He will mostly be tank hunting. So questions are these=
1. attack bikes or bike marines?
2. Multimeltas or heavy bolters?

A bit vague.... "I does run a conversion beamer on bike"

What is he for? unless your on a super massive map, conversion beamer isnt really worth it. MOTF arent really made for anti infantry, so shove multimeltas in.

This is quite the odd question. If he has a conversion beamer he should be tank hunting / heavy infantry hunting, so heavy bolters are a useless thing to take. If he is hunting light infantry, well...take heavy bolter attack bikes I guess?

Running a Conversion beamer on a bike is the best way to use it. But you gunna want to keep your distance to maximize your damage. So running MMs would be counter productive. I would really just try and keep is Entourage cheap as possible.

If he is on a bike I would keep it super cheap and take a 3 man bike squad with no upgrades since your gonna try to stay away as much as possible to take advantage of the beam and you need something that can keep up with your bike just take a 3 man squad for 3 extra toughness 5 wounds. Since your trying to stay away as much as possible and you already have a 2+ save 3 ablative wounds is plenty.

Sorry for being vague. Basically tank hunting with a conversion beamer. So I will go with regular attack bikes for the ablative wounds basically. Outflankers I guess could be threated by all the bolter fire from the bikes if they try to surprise me.

what do you use him for? anti tank, then multi-melta, or anti inf. then HB.

If you're running Vulkan he should be in a Land Raider with a Servo-Harness and a Thunderhammer IMHO.

Hehe, I did at first. Then modeled one on a bike. Pic in gallery, though recently changed the barrel to look more Imperial. I was running solo, but the folks at my club are getting wise to his antics on the other end of the board so he needs homies. Even in HTH for one tourny he wiped a group of Kroot out. I love this guy and my model!
