Alright, so I've been looking into making a 40k conversion for Starcraft II. I've just learned how to skin the default models and am in progress of learning to change models all together. That said, it'd take forever to do all three armies by myself so I was wondering if anybody else has experience/interest in collaborating on this. Will probably also be looking to do some sound work too.

End goal is that players all over the internet could download this and play SC2 with 40k armies/units instead of Terran/Protoss/Zerg.

Let me know.

That's a really massive undertaking. You'll need a hell of a lot more organization than some skeleton crew off Dakka. Are there any dedicated SC2 modding sites you could hit up?

Wait, is Blizzard actually allowing the modding of their games now?

Hi there, I'm an hole! =D

"Links disintegrate--
Bolt clanks back and forth behind the thudding roar--
Brass rains on the sidewalk--
The 'sixty rattles out its song.
A song I first heard years ago--
Of fireteams dug in on the breaks between the paddyfields, of tracer lasering the jungle night, of Hueys screaming through the void--
Of Lieutenant Castle getting short and hating it, wanting 'Nam to last forever--
A lullaby come all the way to New York City--
Come to sing you to sleep."

More importantly, why would you bother?

The SC armies are blatant rip-offs and aside from Protoss, don't really even need skins to be Marines/Guard or 'Nids.

Actually Blizzard has been supporting it from at least (if not before) Warcraft I.

Not with the StarCraft series, as far as I know/have seen.
