Well duh. Like that page says, the location was announced at Games Day, a fortnight ago.

No offense but why would you hope the US games day would be in Toronto? :p Since thats not a part of the US (technically)

It was really the only logical location

Technically its Games Day North America....which combines both USA and Canada (geographically), thus I was just hoping it would be in Toronto.

Ever since they merged the Canadian and US GW together....GD Toronto went along with it ....I just wished they still kept them separated.

At least we've been given a year's notice, by then I can plan for next years event

Excellent... Forgeworld comes to me next year!

I'm curious if they'll start a 'rotating circuit' between cities that used to hold GD.

What's the typical price of attending one of these? Chicago is about as close as it's ever going to get to me here in Iowa.

Same, also in Iowa.

What kind of stuff goes down at these things?

Other than the tickets, people would spend money on FW and other related GW products.

If you don't want to spend money....you really don't have to and thus no need to worry about additional costs.

As I enjoy GD for its Golden Demon and painting tutorials from some of the top painters, others enjoy the gaming tables and other activities that GD provides, plus of any news that GW would like to leak out....though that didn't happen much this year from what we've heard

It was a good time, and a big step up from the year before. Saturday night there were several GW staff talking/planning about stuff they wanted to do for Chicago already.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.
