I just felt like throwing up a poll to see what people thought would best represent Noise Marines/Emperor's Children, besides Chaos Space Marines.

Since the only codex with sonic weapons is C:CSM it's impossible to replicate them with any other codex.

EC isn't all about sonic weapons. Mostly because they make for an expensive model.

My original EC army only had 4 sonic blasters on troops (two more on a bike squad). It also had a unit of Blastmaster Havoks. I used the BP/CC and warp scream to make CC specialists. Nothing like always going first against 80% of what is out there.

So as such, I voted BA on the poll. Its the only way we can replicate that CC goodness of going first (because of furious charge). Get BP/CC in basic troop choices, and get fearless (if you get the blood rage on a D6).

I think Sanguanior makes a good representation of my old winged DP as well.

Here is my 2000 point list using all of my old EC models as is. I only had to add in 1 BP/CC marine and convert my two preditors TL lascannons into Flamestorm cannons.

Sangunior (uses my old winged DP model)
Mephiston (uses my old Chaos Lord model)

Sanguinary Priests x2
One on bike with lightning claw, one stand a lone (these guys have the large warp amp back packs that came off of the old EC champion models and represent the challis)

Troops -
Assault squad x6, sargent with p-fist, melta gun, rhino
Assault squad x6, Sargent with p/weapon, meltagun, rhino

Fast Attack -
Baal preditor - Flame storm cannon, heavy bolters
Baal Preditor - Flame storm cannon, heavy bolters
Bike squad x5, two melta guns, sargent with power weapon.

Heavy Support -
Devistator sqaud x6 - x4 missile launchers (using blastmaster models)
Devistator squad x5 - x4 heavy bolters (using sonic blaster models)
Vindicator - using old defiler model. (this is the only one that is a bit of a stretch.

The only models I can't use are my 18 damonette models. I have a buddy who would let me use them as death company, but that just doesn't seem right. They don't look death company enough to me.

I think blood angels

I always toyed with the idea of the Frag Cannons as a dreadnought noise cannon! Baals Preads could also have noise weaponry.

Plus fast vehicles and nipple armor feels very slaaneshy! Wasnt Tyco obsessed with his perfection?

Blood Angels. The vanity they have matches Slaanesh reasonably well.

CSM/Daemon Party

The Spiky Grot Legion

The Heavily-Ignored Pedro and Friends

In the grim darkness of the 41st Millenium, there are no indicators.

I want to say Black Templar because nobody seems to use them any more and initiates are cool.

But really, BA.

Son can you play me a memory? I'm not really sure how it goes...

How badly does it affect your assault squads to be in groups of six, rather then ten?

Space Wolves!

Counter Attack seems very Slaaneshi to me. It kind of offsets the loss of Initiative bonus from the MoS.

What units would you avoid while trying to make a slaanesh fluffy Space Wolves army? Any chance for an example list?

I don't think I would necessarily avoid any units, since Chaos Marines will use whatever they can steal or loot.

I even see some awesome conversion possibilities with using Steeds of Slaanesh for Thunderwolf Cavalry.

Why not have a 3 Packs of Grey Hunters with meltas(for your noise marines), a beefy TWC squad(Steed of Slaanesh Riders), Ragnar Blackmane(Brutal Chaos Lord), A wolf Priest(a very inspiring Aspiring Champion), 2 squads of 5 Long Fangs(havocs) with 4 Missile Launchers, 10 Blood Claws(really assaulty Noise Marines) and a Land Raider? That would be a pretty decent 2000 point list.

Thanks for the list! And I am loving the idea of slaanesh TWC.

I'm sure you could get a few more opinions on the list, but Slaaneshi TWC is something that I'm now considering doing.

Haha, I'm not considering it. It's happening. Now I just need to get some models! Maybe to a WHFB and 40k kitbash type deal...

Sure, I just started the hobby. What can I say, I'm over ambitious.

<snip above list>

Its not that bad really. However my old list also had 18 damonettes that did most of the work, so the assault squads were complements of them, they were clean up crew as it were. In this list, most of the HTH killing is done by Meph, Sanguinor, and the bikers. The guys in the rhinos really don't see much action as they mostly hang around objectives in the backfield. Its just that at 6 guys its usually enough to fend off other enemy units as they most likely are thinned a bit before showing up by the devistator squads.
