Imagine a Magna Grapple mounted on a Titan.

Mega-Grapple

The Mega-Grapple is considered a Warhound Class Weapon and so takes up a carapace mount for Reaver and Warlord Titans. It has the following profile.

Range: 60" S: D Ap: 1 Heavy 1, Grapple

Grapple: The Grapple may be used to ensnare Super Heavy Vehicles and Gargantuan Creatures. If the attack hits and the target survives, consult the following rules below depending on the target type.

Gargantuan Creature: Roll a D6 and add the number of remaining Structure Points. If it is higher than the number of remaining wounds on the target, it has been snared and may be pulled in.

Super Heavy Vehicles: Roll a D6+9. If it is equal to or higher than the target's highest armour value, then it has been snared and may be pulled in.

If the target has been snared, it may be pulled 4D6" towards the Titan. Any unit in the way counts as being Tank Shocked. If the movement would bring it into close-combat, the Titan gains an extra D3 attacks (D6 if it has at least 1 TCCW)

Imagine it: A Reaver snaring a Hierophant and dragging it into one of it's fists!

Do you really think a Warhound could do that? It could easily be unbalanced and pull ITSELF down if it does that.

They are rather 'light' afterall, and don't have a ton of brute force behind themselves.

Hmm, good point, should I change it to Reavers and Warlord only or just Warlords?

Aren't Reavers a Warhound body with bigger guns? If so maybe just the Warlord.

No, a Reaver's much larger than the Warlord. I think it should be avaliable for Reavers as it may be a bit unpopular for Warlords as there would be better weapon options for the carapace mount.

On a Reaver I could see it working, and I think it'd look awesome *drools*

Yeah. I approve this motive especially on reavers

You could even make it an arm-mount but add d3 to any of the rolls since the arm is more stable.

Ummmm. . . no. Warhounds yes, but a warlord is a larger class titan and second in size only to the emperor class titans (Warmonger & Imperator)

Beside that, decent rules, how many points?

Trade rules: lower rep trades ships 1st. - I ship within 2 business days, if it will be longer I will contact you & explain. - I will NOT lie on customs forms, it's a felony, do not ask me to mark sales as "gifts". Free shipping applies to contiguous US states.

Oops, I meant the Reaver's larger than the Warhound. Thanks for the correction.

Points-wise, it shouldn't be any more to upgrade it, as the cost for weapons are already included in the cost for the Titan.
