Apologies if this is in the wrong place but I consider this news and of note to the other Maryland area people on this forum.

After some negotiation with the manager of the Games Workshop at the Town Mall of Westminster, we're going to hold a Bizarre Bazaar on Saturday October 16th.

The time frame is still being worked on, I'll post it as soon as it's hammered out.

The store is located at:

400 North Center Street
Space 191
Westminster, MD21157

This is in the Town Mall of Westminster Maryland and the easiest way to get to the store in the mall is to park at the entrance with the signs for Time Out Sports Grille and Casa Rica Mexican Restaurant. For those not familiar with the area, Westminster is about 45 minutes from Baltimore and an hour to an hour and a half from DC (depending on what roads you take) on a Saturday.

Rules: as this is a Bizarre Bazaar, no cash transactions allowed. Trading models is allowed and buying a Gift Card for the "seller" is allowed. (Same rules as when the Battle Bunkers have had these events.)

Any other (legitimate) questions, ask em and I'll get them clarified ASAP.

UPDATE: Apologies to the community at large, but the store manager was asked by his higher ups to not schedule anything that conflicts with "Worldwide Island of Blood Day" which is being held on October 23rd. (That Saturday also conflicted with Warstore Weekend.) So we are now having our Bizarre Bazaar on OCTObER 16th.

Nice! I might actually try to make this, if for no other reason than to see if people actually want to buy the stuff I have for sale (some nicely painted minis, not done by myself)

Yes, it does indeed! And I would've made one of these others if I wasn't out of town this past Saturday, and planning to be at 'Ard Boyz at the second one... I guess third time's the charm

Update: We're planning on the Bizarre Bazaar to begin at 11am and end at 3pm. The store opens at 10am and we're going to try to be able to start early if people are there and we're also going to try and make arrangements to go longer if the interest is there.

Oh my god . . . an event in my hometown. I wish I hadn't traded my SM, Nids, and Necrons now. This could have saved me a lot of money on postage . I'll be there with my leftovers

Quite possibly, you never know till you show up. I was selling bits at the Bazaar in Annapolis last weekend. If I make it to Westminster, I'll bring my bits box with me again.

So does anybody know if this event is still going to happen.

Did anyone here go to this Westminster, MD event and if so, what was the turnout like? Did enough people show up to make it worthwhile?
