Was hoping to get typhoons in but then (with ML instead of lascannon in 3rd rhino tacs) i have 15pts too much... Was wondering what are thoughts on dreadnought... I was still thinking of DCCW with heavy flamer, but I think I'l go all the way shooty platform with them... I plan combat squading when facing many vehicles (so that is pretty badass anti-tanking) And vindi can do wonderful against hordes and heavy armor... Dreds in cover with 4+ cover save just popping down transports and medium armor... Well, you get the picture
I still wonder what to do with 15pts... Was thinking of combi-melta on sarge... Or combi-flamer on squad without flamer...

Are you combatsquading your tacticals? IF you do then the PF is a waste. Save 75pts on useless fists in order to get a typhoon.

Personally I would drop one tactical squad completly for some more armour.

It looks good, though there's no need for many fists.

And I personally am very uncomfortable with only two troop choices at 1500. YMMV though.

My general course of action where Dreadnoughts are conserened: If I want a CC Dread, its an Ironclad. If I want a shooty Dread its a normal Dread.

The only thing I'm not sure about is the Librarian, there really isnt anything for him to go with except a 5 man, comabt squaded, tactical squad. But I dont have a better alternative for you.

As for PF, i was considering dropping them, but I must say that if I drop PF, i'll combat squad every game, as their survivability decreases... Yet, I think I will drop 1 PF, because one way or the other, I will combat squad at least 1 of them because of libby...

As for libby, he is cheapest, yet still MVP at this pts... With avenger combined with flamer marine it will make up for fact that there are only 5 men in that rhino... And null zone, I just love it

I know I'll go normal dread, just was wondering between ml and DCCW with hf... The fact is, it will provide better fire-base with ml, but survivability increases with DCCW...

I love tacs, and in this kind of list I love having 3... This gives me flexibility to have another 3 LC if I need them, or more bodies if I don't...

I fint that Dreads equipped with a Twin Link Autocannon and either another Twin Linked Autocannon or a Plasma Cannon are the best...

I'm not droping las... I need him to take down medium armor and str 7 can't do that... 2 Autocannons are death for transports... But what about autocannon instead ml? maybe it could be better for kicking down tanks? It would mean that he could take down transporters as good as with 2 autocannons, and still give hell to heavier armor... It is 2 almost certain shots s7 for single s8...

Personally I'd take missile launchers on the Tacticals giving you more krak power. Got lascannons on the Dreadnoughts. I would also drop the power fists as you'll no doubt the combat squading and 5 Marines don't win combat all that often.

Rest is sweet and standard.
