The PDF downloads do't seem to have the rules for allying. Could somone with the in-print codex tell me what they are?

No. YMDC is not the place to give out rules wholesale, otherwise GW ninja assasin attack pandas will come get us.

Buy a paper one off ebay if you want the rules, bearing in mind that the codex will be invalidated shortly.

Nope.

We can't just hand out rules - against board rules and all.

Neither can we suggest places like scribd to get them from.

The pdf downloads are one of their more recent cranial-rectal inversion moments.

Oh. Sorry. I though that the codex was open source. I got the PDFs from the GW site, and I thought they were incomplete.

Oh, they are, but intentionally incomplete.

Partially it's because when they change it, the core elements tend to stay more-or-less the same. For people wanting to start them now, it's the safest option.

Allies is going bye bye.

Alas this is true, even OOP GW stuff is protected by their copyright and IP protection.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
