can he have a honour guard? im pretty sure he cant but my friend (handily who plays as him) says he can, id rather just be able too brightlance him once and have it over with too be honest!

First: This should probably be in YMDC

Secondly: Yes, you may take a unit Honor Guards for each HQ UNIT (non-Honor Guards of course...), no need for it to be an independent character.

What do you mean by "have"? Do you mean take in the list? If so, as pointed out, he's an HQ unit, so the list is allowed to include Honor Guard if he's in it.

Do you mean "can Mephiston join a unit of Honor Guard?" If so, no, he can't.

As Seaward said he's not an IC so he can't join it but can take it, also, seeing as he is T6 and has W5 how do you plan on brightlancing him once? It'll take at least 5...

Please clean up your posts. It's very hard to understand what you're trying to say without proper capitalization, punctuation, and syntax.

That said, how has this not left you any wiser? The answer is pretty clear.

Yes, he can take an Honour Guard.

No, because he is not an Independent Character, he cannot join said Honour Guard.

As for brightlancing him once and being done with it .... how?

hes toughness 6 with 5 wounds .... youd need to shoot 8-9 brightlances at him with him out of cover to reliably kill him ...

It isn't, but in order for us to understand you, you need to be clear.

"How many widgets are in the red box on the shelf?"

is much more clear than

"how meny widgets are in da box on the self?"

Just put some damn effort in, and I'm happy. Your spelling is good, but the lack of punctuation and proper syntax makes your meaning muddy at best.
