1.) At what point value should I start to consider nobs? (1000, 1250, 1500 etc.....)
2.) How many squads should I run? (I'm sure it depends on the points)
3.) Is there a standard build for nobs or is that situational? (Wargear?)
4.) Do Biker Nobs get geared any diffrently?
5.) Always roll a Painboy and Waagh Banner?
6.) What IC or HQ should I be running with Nobs?
7.) Any other general advice or tactics with Nobs?
Again I am open to any and all advice. Thanks!
1. Any point value above 500.
2. I usually only run one, armed to the teeth and with a Warboss leading them. However, running two or three smaller units can also be effective, as even a small unit of Nobz can crush most things in
CC.
3. You can mix it up a bit, but the standard is to have every Nob equipped differently, to take advantage of wound allocation.
4. Nope.
5. Yes. Always, forever. Never leave home without those two critical upgrades, unless you're running a three-man suicide squad for some reason. And if you're running a suicide squad, Meganobz do it better.
6. A Warboss, or Doc Grotsnik if you'd like. Grotsnik gives you cheaper cybork bodies, but makes the Nobz very predictable. Of course, they're pretty predictable anyway.
7. You toss them into whatever is valuable and watch it explode. Run a deathstar squad of 10 with an
HQ in a BW for protection, or run two or three smaller units in Trukks for turn-two assaults. If you do that, expect to lose them all; as long as they kill valuable things, it's ok.
