So I put together a list for an Iron Warriors army a good while ago, aiming for a decent middle ground between competitive and friendly. Here goes:

Chaos Lord with lightning claws: 130

10 Marines with 2x melta, champion, powerfist, icon of glory, rhino: 255

10 Marines with 2x plasma, champion, power sword, icon of glory, rhino: 255

9 Marines with flamer, champion, powerfist, icon of glory, rhino: 225

Vindicator with possession: 125

Vindicator with possession: 125

Vindicator with possession: 125

5 Terminators with 3x combi melta, power fist, chainfist, icon of glory

The plan is to have the "wall of iron" dealie going on, with the rhinos protecting the flanks of the vindicators. Possession lets them keep kicking ass nomatter what. The Lord tools around in the squad with the flamer. He has lightning claws because the model has a mechanical arm and a servo arm. I'd give him a combimelta if I had 10 points to spare, which I might drop from the Terminator unit. Terminators are typical "termicide" or whatever people call it. I wrote them in long before I even knew that term. They deep strike and blow an expensive tank up.

Thoughts? I'm probably not going to go around changing much, since I bought all the models for this army already. I still welcome comments and critique though!

I can almost say I really like this list...however, there is just 1 big concern: What happens when you are taking shots at range? Granted, your real range on the Vindicators is 30", just curious when someone tries to play circle to hid from your "Iron of pain".

If you can riddle me that, I'll give it 2 thumbs up!

Well, the Terminators can drop in as soon as turn 2 (or turn 5 with my luck ) and give him something in his backfield to worry about. That's more of a decoy tactic than anything else. The front armor of the vindicators is pretty durable, and the possession means they'll always be moving. If I charge into a circle I'm probably going to take a beating!

MoK would really benefit that Lord with double claws

You don't need champion w/ pwoer weap and plasma guns because cannot charge after.

Termicide in a mind Terminators with combi meltas btw

Well, I find it good form to give every sergeant something special - after all, just because he won't be charging after firing plasma guns doesn't mean he won't get charged!

So you want to pay 15 points for a Marine then 15 points for a Champion and 15 points to get a power weapon which doesn't work in synergy with your weapons? That's 45 points wasted in case you get charged - nice one! Instead, throw the extra points into a combi melta on your Terminators.
